Exploring Atlanta has been one of the best experiences. I have fallen in love with the elegant southern charm that I’ve seen through out this beautiful city. Like usual, my love began during lunch and dinner. If you’re ever visiting Atlanta, there are a few places you’ll need to go.
Must eat’s –
South City Grill – This restaurant served us with its most southern dishes. It’s known for its delicious fried chicken, which we indulged in, of course. We also had fried green tomatoes and a piece of cornbread or two.
Aviva by Kameel – The veggie platter with lentils and eggplant is a must. At lunch, there was a line wrapped around the corner. The owner is a delight and brought out samples of food for people to enjoy. #bless
Taverna – This new Italian restaurant just opened its doors at, The Buckhead Shops and we had to try it. The eggplant parmesan and margarita pizza were our highlights.
Eclipse di Luna – I have never been more in love with a restaurant in my life. Avocado salad is all you need to know. Order 3 for the table and then like 10 to-go.
True Foods – I tried this restaurant in Los Angeles for the first time last summer and it was amazing. Every dish is seasoned with all natural ingredients and is seasoned to perfection. Teriyaki Quinoa is my fav!
On to a non-food related topic – I have to highlight this darling store called W. Port. This boutique is filled with the best goodies, including a pair of Vince slides that I’m very much in love with.
Sadly, tomorrow I leave Atlanta and fly back to Minnesota. I’ll miss the heat, the stores and the food. Its safe to say, I’m officially in a-can’t-fit-in-my-pants-anymore situation, that will need to be dealt with by running, yoga and salads upon my return!
