Today I had to practice patients in a big girl way when my flight from MSP > YAG was delayed by 6 hours. I was tired and just wanted to get there that I let my emotions get the best of me. When dealing with delayed flights I often forget that the people working behind the counter have little if nothing to do with the actual flight that I’m complaining to them about. So being moody isn’t going to help anyone in this sitch. 

 Tips for dealing with a delay –  

You determine how the situation will go for you. You can be angry or mad but ultimately you just have to practice patience. 

Find good snacks. Snacks are always helpful. And good ones make all the difference. I opt for pretzels and some chocolate. 

Be productive. Read a book, call someone, watch a show (one of my favorite ways of being productive).
